About me
I have always been drawn to computing. As a child I was already writing small BASIC programs to solve my homework, which I sold to my classmates for 100 pesetas. Initially self-taught (in computing you always have to be), I later completed the Higher Technician Diploma in Computer Applications Development (a vocational qualification in software development). Still wanting more, I went on to earn a degree in Computer Engineering in Information Systems from the University of Seville.
I currently work in software development, mainly in JAVA, for companies and public institutions.
Throughout my career I have worked mainly in web development, both in PHP (Yii framework) and Java (Spring framework), on projects of all kinds, from surveys and information portals to comprehensive management software. Alongside this line of work, I have also built a number of mobile applications, which is the area I enjoy most.

When Diego joined Viavansi, he caught us at a moment of very heavy workload. In the thick of battle, we handed him a rifle and sent him to the front line with barely any training. Not only did he survive, but he became a powerful asset on a complex project.
Constantino Rodríguez Méndez
Marketing Manager · Viavansi
I was Diego's technical lead during his time at Simosa IT, delivering projects for Atlassian products. Throughout the period we worked together, what stood out most about Diego was how quickly and effectively he worked. His technical knowledge is remarkable, and thanks to him the whole team learned a great deal.
Alberto Expósito Gómez

Among his many strengths — and I can assure you there are more — I would highlight three: his capacity to learn, to adapt and to conduct himself professionally. He was involved in the project from day one, always with a positive attitude and contributing ideas and solutions. A versatile individual who would fit into any team.
